Absence Reporting
There are many ways you can report your child absent but this can now also be done through the Attendance section in the My Child at School App. This makes it quicker and easier to notify the school if your child will not be attending this helps us keep accurate records and ensures we can support your child’s learning.

Why is it important for my child to attend school regularly?
Regular school attendance plays a vital role in every child’s success. When students attend school consistently, they are more likely to keep up with lessons, build strong relationships with teachers and classmates.
Each school day provides valuable opportunities for academic growth, social development, and confidence building.
Missing school, even occasionally can make it harder for students to understand new concepts and stay engaged in learning.
By ensuring children attend school every day, on time, families create a strong foundation for achievement, responsibility and lifelong learning.
Let’s work together to make attendance a priority and give our students the best chance to succeed.
