This term our Year 6 children had the chance to take part in a Go-Kids-Go wheelchair workshop. The session was a great success and was designed to help a deeper understanding of mobility challenges, accessibility, and inclusion. Throughout the workshop, students had the opportunity to experience manoeuvring a wheelchair, navigate different obstacles and discuss the importance of empathy and support to our fellow wheelchair users in our academy. This experience has not only broadened their perspective but also encouraged meaningful discussions about inclusivity and respect for all individuals.
